About the Recall:

Family Medical Supply, LLC is voluntarily recalling medical grade oxygen cylinders that were delivered between May 18, 2023, and October 31, 2023.

Reason for the Voluntary Recall:

The medical grade oxygen may have been manufactured in conditions that did not comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The recall is being initiated as a precautionary measure.

Risk to Health:

At this time, the company has not received any complaints or reports of adverse events related to the use of this product.

Adverse events may be reported to MedWatch, the Food and Drug Administration’s medical product safety reporting program for health professionals, patients, and consumers. Please visit www.fda.gov/medwatch.

If you have medical grade oxygen cylinders that were delivered by Family Medical Supply, LLC, or Respracare, Inc. between May 18, 2023, and October 31, 2023, immediately discontinue use. Use and consumption of this product may cause unintended health consequences.

Contact Family Medical Supply, LLC, by calling 800-868-8479 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to schedule the return of recalled product in exchange for delivery of new medical grade oxygen cylinders. Family Medical Supply, LLC has now partnered with a third-party vendor to ensure the quality of your medical grade oxygen cylinders.
