AdaptHealth supplied your orthotic through your care team — your hospital, emergency department, or orthopedic practice. Whether you picked it up at a care facility or had it shipped to your home, we manage the insurance billing and claims process on behalf of patients. That's why you may be hearing from us after your visit. If you have questions about a bill or the orthotic you received, we're here to help.
AdaptHealth sends Proof of Delivery confirmations because insurance providers require confirmation that medical equipment was delivered. This verifies that the billed item was actually received by the patient.
Once shipped, a tracking number is added and linked to the carrier’s website. Phone support is also available for assistance.
Yes. Every shipped brace includes a QR code in the packaging. Scanning it opens step-by-step instructions for properly applying the brace.
For knee braces, patients should measure around the thigh about 6 inches above the knee. Most other braces use universal sizing. If special sizing is needed, a representative will guide the patient through the process.
Yes. Braces can be exchanged for another size within 30 days. Returns are also accepted within 30 days if the product is unopened.
